Bird spikes discourage perching on selected surfaces. A site assessment considers the ledge shape, bird activity and surrounding areas so coverage addresses the actual landing points.
Scope considerations for your facility
Map the ledges and surfaces birds use.
Assess surface condition, access and fixing suitability.
Plan coverage along edges, corners and adjoining perches.

MATCH THE SYSTEM TO THE SPACE
Protect a perch. Or exclude a whole space.
01 / BIRD SPIKES
For ledges, beams and signage.
Bird spikes can suit ledges, exposed beams and signage where birds land or roost. The proposed coverage follows the width and shape of the landing surface, including corners and nearby untreated perches.
Surface condition, fixings and access for cleaning or maintenance need to be considered. Spikes are a targeted perch deterrent; they do not close building openings or create an area-wide barrier.
02 / BIRD NETTING
For exclusion across a whole space.
When birds can enter warehouse rafters, a covered loading dock or another open space, treating individual ledges may leave the wider area accessible. Bird netting can form an exclusion barrier across the selected space or its entry points.
Netting is planned around the structure, services and future access. A facility may need netting for an open area and spikes on separate exposed perches.
